Redwood Cottage was built in the mid 1930’s and has been a favorite of families from across the country ever since. Recently, Redwood underwent a major renovation that brought this favorite up to date. Retained in the update were Redwood’s most identifying feature, its distinctive orange shutters that have been a beach landmark
for over 60 years.
Inside, you’ll find tongue - in -groove panelled rooms with cathedral ceilings including a beautiful living room with a natural stone and quartz fireplace and a beautiful new lakeside window with one of the best views you’ll find anywhere! The kitchen has been completely redone in a charming cottage-blue color scheme and features a microwave. The updated bath features a shower. Three carpeted bedrooms
round out the interior.
Back outside, you’ll find a welcoming deck with that same great view and comfortable furniture. The beach is only a few steps away and the cool waters of Lake Michigan will soothe stress away. Redwood
features full/double beds
in all three bedrooms.
Other updates include new wiring, windows, siding, and a forced air furnace. Redwood has been a perennial favorite for over 70 years and invites your family to come experience its simple brand
of warmth and charm.

REDWOOD COTTAGE
The Olsons enjoy an annual George Foreman Grill Party with long-time Redwooders, The Wermichs. Brian Wermich has been coming to Olson Cottages with his family since the 1950’s. Today, he and wife Paula continue the tradition with son Matt and daughter-in-law Jess, as well as Brian and Paula’s daughter Stephanie.
