GREENWOOD COTTAGE
There hasn’t been a new cottage available at Olson Cottages since Twin Cedar’s joined the group in the early 40’s. In 2006, Olson Cottages was happy to announce the addition of a fourth cottage, increasing availability by twenty-five percent.
Greenwood Cottage has been part of the property since the 1940s, as home to the Ben and Alice Olson family, the Jay and Penny Olson family and later the summer home of Penny Olson. With Penny and her husband Glenn’s permanent move next door to “Penny’s Quarters” year round in the fall of 2005, Greenwood has become available for seasonal rental.
The cottage sleeps 6 and features 2 bedrooms (1 with full-sized bed, 1 with 2 full-sized beds), bath with shower, paneled living room and a beautiful knotty pine paneled kitchen/dining room hand-crafted by Jay Olson. The kitchen features full-sized appliances and microwave. Outside you’ll find a deck with umbrella, table and chairs.
Unlike the other cottages, Greenwood does not have a direct lake view (limited view from kitchen) or interior fireplace, but does have dedicated beach space of its own, and an outdoor fireplace.
Pricing will reflect the difference in amenities.
