In 1922, the Albert W. Tressler family built their first
Door County cottage.
“Grandma’s Cottage” still stands as does the family
tradition of carefree Summers and colorful Autumns
on our beautiful beach.
Olson Cottages are a unique piece of Door County history. Unspoiled, untouched, they represent
an era before TV and video. Here, the beach
takes center stage and provides countless hours of pleasure. Cool waters and warm sand combine to ease the stresses of today’s lifestyles and provide a break from everyday life.
Each cottage features 3 bedrooms , fireplaces (Greenwood Cottage features 2 bedrooms and no fireplace), outdoor decks/patios, bath with shower, and fully equipped kitchens.
Rentals Run Saturday to Saturday
Check In: 3PM
Check Out: 10AM
Olson Cottages include:
-Two or Three Bedrooms
-Fully Equipped Kitchens
-Fireplaces with firewood*
-CD player with cassette stereo
-Modern furnaces for cool nights
*Except Greenwood.
Olson Cottages do not include:
-sheets, towels, sundries
- housekeeping services
-phones or TV
Sorry, NO PETS!
Door County has kennels available, but
pets are not allowed on the grounds at any time.
Olson Cottages are located
2-1/2 miles north of Jacksonport, WI
on Highway 57.

Three: A July 2003 lineup proves that 50 years later, the beach continues to be a summer home to youth from across the country. This entire lineup can trace their beach experiences to current or past guests at Olson Cottages.
